High Tech Mobility, LLC is a full-service provider of all your accessibility needs, we are located in the heart of Alabama which enables us to serve customers Statewide. We offer a complete line of major mobility products, the industries best wheelchairs, scooters, vertical platform lifts, ceiling lifts, stairlifts, driving controls and driving control accessories. We do sales, repairs and some rentals on these products that are designed to improve the quality of life for the physically challenged.
We established our Woman Owned Small Business in 1994 and have aspired to the highest industry standards since that time. We have always respected our clients’ privacy and will never use your contact information for any purpose other than to send you product information that you have requested. We will never sell, give or lend your name to anyone, ever.
Our founder, George White, came from a Nascar Racing background working for the Legendary Nascar Hall of Famer, Bobby Allison and used knowledge that he learned in that field to improve some elements in his DME Business. He also has been a Vehicle Systems Specialist Consultant with an Engineering firm for many years. George holds a Limited Elevator mechanic License for the State of Alabama, and Certificates in Brooks, Harmar Mobility Products, Bruno, and Liko-HillRom Lifts. His Manager and Co-founder, Cate White brought her business savvy to help form the business as it is today. The two of them have bonded with many of their customers and have created many lifelong friendships and business relationships.
Matthew White our Shop Manager is an EMT-P, has been a Firefighter/Paramedic for 15 years and he has worked for us for 17 years. He holds a Limited Elevator Mechanic License with the State of Alabama, Certificates of Achievement and/or Training with Brooks, Pride Mobility Products Corp., Ricon, Harmar Mobility Products, Suregrip (Howell Ventures Ltd.) and Bruno. Matt. Is part of all the mechanical work that is handled in the shop and has a keen understanding for the technology side of the new equipment we sell and service.
Brad Owens handles most Service Calls that we have, he holds a State of Alabama Limited Elevator Mechanic License, and Brooks and Harmar Mobility Products Achievement/Training Certificates. Brad has been with us 5 years and has an excellent record with making installations and repairs in the field. Brad understands the products that we sell and can quickly troubleshoot when a repair is needed. Brad is very loyal to our Customers and has often put their needs before his own.
